This is update is mostly bugfixes and a return to stable releases.- Added shortcut to clear all bookmarks (Ctrl-Shift-F2).
- Fixed use of F2 for renaming in project.
- When showing popup menu with multiple bundle items, they are now sorted by bundle.
The latest release can be downloaded at:

Do I need the 'Unicode' bundle?
It still will not load. Log says:
Code:
20:25:24: Directory 'C:\DOCUME~1\FRED~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Unicode.tmbundle\Support\lib\aux' couldn't be created (error 267: the directory name is invalid.)
20:25:24: can't open file 'C:\DOCUME~1\FRED~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Unicode.tmbundle\Support\lib\aux\createIPAnamesDB.sh' (error 3: the system cannot find the path specified.) |

For some reason with 1.0.24 when I try to go to a line I can't type the number into the box.
1. Ctrl + G -> brings up the Go to Line dialog
2. type a number -> doesn't work, just beeps at me. Have to use the spin control to change the line number to go to.
Anyone else seeing this?
Thanks
btw: WinXP 32bit |

Ouch. I use go-to-line all the time. I'll hold off upgrading.
Can anyone confirm if it *does* work on any other PC's or if it's just broken across the board? |

Everything was working for me until I installed 1.0.24 (The entire unstable build line worked for me). But now e won't start, even if I delete the .db files or with the cleanundo flag.
I've tried to revert to a previous build of 1.0.23 and now that is broken too.

The bugs I've discovered so far are:
- Sometimes when I try to open a file from the project file manager, e crashes completely. The bug has been present since 1.0.21.
- When I edit docblocks in PHP, the syntax highlighting sometimes produces a strange bug where it seems that e doesn't recognize the comment block anymore. If I remove the /* and put it back, the syntax highlighting works again. This bug was also introduced in the unstable 1.0.21+ releases.
- I also experience the "go to line" bug mentioned above.
I'm currently running Vista x64 SP1.
I would alo love to be able to save the bookmarks when a file is closed. Seems a bit pointless to create any bookmarks if they are erased as soon as a file is closed or e crashes. |

Ouch... I updated to latest version wxWidgets (actually to get fixes for some other bugs), and it contained a regression in the spinctrl . I had to patch wxWidgets to fix it, but it should work now (bumped to 1.0.24a). |

I was using E 1.0.20 on Windows XP Pro SP2 and didn't have any problems with the notifications that pointed out when a remote file that I was working on was modified.
However, I just upgraded to 1.0.24 and now it seems that every few minutes it asks if I want to reload the file because it has been modified on the server. The thing is, I am the only one working on the file right now at all. The other developer is on vacation today. Yet it still says that the file has been modified when it has not been.
Also I am still having the auto-tabbing issue that people have been reporting for awhile while programming in PHP.
Otherwise it seems to be great. I love the new ability to select random bits and sections all at the same time with the new and more dynamic select feature. |
