Well.. I don't know what's wrong with you ppl, but I like it
Two releases in less than a week.. that's a new one.
Anyhow, double click on folders icon should toggle folders, not only show it |

| Woohoo! Great to see some progress again... A small suggestion: change your versioning scheme to 1.0.34sp1, 1.0.34r2 or something similar, when I saw 1.0.34a on the front page I thought it was an alpha version. |

thanks
the find in project seems kinda broken tho, it doesnt work at all for me unless i use regexp mode, and also, its finding stuff in adobe illustrator, pdf, and other binary formats, so the find results are this big long mess of garbled characters... |

yep
find in project only works with a regexp on.
running anything without regexp causes a crash (intermittently), and it seems to display no results when not in regexp mode and if it doesnt die
ctrl + alt + f shortcut pops up a simple search, that causes e to become unusable until esc is pressed.
possibly an overlapping shortcut? (this is on a completely clean install, registry and %appdata%/e nuked)
edit:
ooooo
when clicked on the projects pane, and using the shortcut ctrl alt f, the find in projects dialog appears. when in the text panel/symbols, the little buggy window appears.
also have about 4 instances of find.exe running in task manager |

I was a big believer for a long time, then increasingly doubtful for a while... but I'm starting to become a re-believer |

1) I think the search in project popup should close when you press escape
2) a search in project history would be GREAT |

Well, it seems that all of the bugs that troubled me with e have been cleared with this release. I already disappointedly uninstalled it completely from my system. Glad, I gave it another try. Keep up the good stuff!
One Problem persists though:
I think it's really annoying that, when using the mousewheel on the search bar, it scrolls through the list of recent search items. Instead I'd love the caret to focus in the editor area after doing a search, so one does not accidentally initiate another search and lose the current view.
Anyway, happy you are on it again! |
